RDP Remote Install Incompatible

In an attempt to reach via Remote Desktop to a user's computer, we have a problem incompatible software (Fig 1).

Fig 1

After some research, we found that the problem is that there is a registry key that is incorporated with the installation of Lotus Notes.

We find the REG_SZ with the name and value GinaDLL ngina.dll within of the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SOFTWARE \\ Microsoft \\ Windows NT \\ Current Version \\ Winlogon

must delete the REG_SZ only, no need to remove the whole key.

Although a warning about problems with the Lotus Notes client on your computer, do not know of any case of malfunction, following the changes to the registry.

Thanks, Leandro, for information to solve this problem.

Cartoon Maxine Old Lady

When changing an adapter with fixed IP on a computer network, we manually reconfigure IP address. The setup, we find a warning message (Fig 1).

Fig 1

Although the message can be ignored without any problem, warns us that we are putting an IP address to a network card when another already had the same IP, but the other network card is not listed in Device Manager (Device Manager) because it was removed from our system.

To never see this warning every time we set something on our new network card, we must remove the front plate. However, the plate is no longer on the computer, you could say that only his memory, so this is known as phantom adapter.

The way that she can be seen is through two commands from a CMD:
First: Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1
Second Start DEVMGMT.MSC
Fig 2

When after the second command is executed the Device Manager, you must select "Show hidden devices" in the menu "View" (Fig 2)

In our example we can see how the device appears ghost "Intel 21140-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Generic)." We simply have to delete it so that the warning does not show more.
