Software Catalyst Radeon Xddm

SP1 RSAT and Windows Server 2008 SP1 and 7/Windows

7/Windows SP1 Windows Server 2008 R2 can be downloaded from February 22, for this reason I want to comment on a recent case that will be helpful to all who have Bitlocker a team and have a physical facility on an HD and one on a VHD.

Suppose that a computer is running Windows 7 with Bitlocker and there is a facility on a VHD to another operating system (Windows other 7 or Windows Server 2008R2) used for testing. In this environment, you want to try SP1 on the system that is in the VHD. After installation restart your computer and enter without problems. But when trying to boot from the installation of Windows 7 which is to Bitlocker, we report that the system can not start because the information was changed at boot partition since Bitlocker was enabled (actually, when you install SP1 on the other system .) All operating systems, whether run from a physical HD or from a VHD file, share information on a partition of 100Mb that uses Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 to start.

If you have a USB key information Bitlocker, we insert for our HD can be started. You can also enter the key manually. Once inside the operating system, we must pause and resume Bitlocker to validate the new information, or every time you start you should insert the key.

Another option (and only if we have no Bitlocker Key) is:

-Pause Bitlocker in our HD
-Start system from
-Install SP1 VHD
-Re -enable Bitlocker
